My Kids love Chicken Goujans, when they were small I used to make  chicken nuggets freshly crumbed and fried lightly then finished off in the oven. However now they’ve progressed from just a  few chicken nuggets to wanting far more and usually immediately.

This recipe works beautifully in wraps or even just with a fresh salad on a hot summers day.


Chicken Wraps with Plum Sauce

(measure –  1 t = 5ml Teaspoon or 1 T=  15ml Tablespoon )

1 t ginger powder
1t corriander powder
1t cumin powder
1t mild curry powder
1 t  mild chilli powder  (optional)
1 clove of garlic crushed2T Cornflour

4 x chicken breasts

  1. Place cornflour and other dry ingrediants into a bowl
  2. Slice Chicken breast pieced into strips
  3. Coat chicken well with dry mixture
  4. Turn Actifry on with 5ml of oil and fry garlic for 1 minute
  5. Add chicken and cook for 5 – 7 minutes until cooked throughly and succulant. Depending on the size of the strips you may need to cook for longer.

Quick Plum sauce

  • 2T of Plum Jam
  • 1 T soy Sauce
  • 1t white wine vinegar
  • 1 t brown sugar

Mix on hob until jam as dissolved and combined and refrigerate until needed

Serve with strips of cucumber and carrot and lettuce and the cooled Plum Sauce  to fill up the wraps.
